The CHS Track coaches will hold a short Parent’s meeting at 5pm on Wednesday in the school cafeteria. We will discuss basic information about the season, provide a few handouts, and answer any questions that you may have.

As road conditions have continually improved throughout the morning so far, extracurricular events will proceed as scheduled this evening.

All #CHSCUSD1 athletic contests are cancelled tonight. The home boys basketball game for senior night is rescheduled to tomorrow.

February is CTE Month... Did you know that CTE associate degrees can pay $10,000 more per year than associate degrees in other fields - and can even pay more than bachelor's degrees - while limiting student debt. Learn more about CTE at www.acteonline.org

February is CTE Month... Did you know that by recruiting and hiring through CTE, employers can improve their bottom line and meet skill needs. A national survey of over 300 employers conducted by Advance CTE demonstrates that Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a trusted source of talent that aligns with employer needs and prepares learners with adaptable real-world skills to achieve success in the career of their choice.

This week CHS FFA members competed in the Section 20 FFA proficiency awards. Congratulations to our winners: Ellie Long- Fruit production Jonah Houston- Agricultural mechanics and repair Elena Wetzel- Veterinary science and section star in agricultural placement Members will advance to the district level and interview on March 9.

CHS Maximum Forte competed in the ICHSA quarterfinals in Ann Arbor, MI finishing a very close second and qualifying for semifinals on March 19th. Mitch Cox won for best choreography and Megan Heise won for best vocal percussion. Congratulations! #chscusd1
