Charleston High School and CHS Student Council would like to thank Charleston U-Haul and Home Again Consignment for sponsoring a van to transport the prom decorations to and from the dance venue! #CHSCusd1


Recently Petty Officer Charles Brown, a Pearl Harbor casualty with connections to East Central Illinois, was laid to rest in Arcola. CHS Press writer Gunner Barr attended the service. Mrs. Doughty's and Miss Walk's classes with the help of Mr. Adkins planted trees at Mark Twain and Carl Sandburg Elementary schools. The trees were purchased as part of a grant from the Lumpkin Family Foundation #CHSCUSD1
