This week is National FFA week! Today is drive your tractor to school day at CHS. FFA members were given the chance to the make this the BIGGEST tractor day in the last couple of years. By the looks of the pictures I’d say they achieved their goal! A big shout out to the FFA members who participated in driving your tractor to school day, the students who had to relocate parking, and parents for allowing their students to drive the heavy machinery to school! A special shout out to Carter Bright for organizing the event and Jake Coffey for using his drone to supply footage at the school.

Students in Mrs. Swim's Anatomy class are completing a project focusing on the harmful effects of vaping. The project allows students to learn how different flavors of vaping negatively impact lung tissue.
CHS: Congratulations to senior Sydney Bennett (pictured with her parents), who was surprised today by representatives from Indiana State University awarding her a Presidential Scholarship.
CHS: Mr. Hudson’s Honors Algebra 1 students explored the number pattern that is Pascal’s Triangle and created one to share with the school.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has recommended to the Coles County Health Department that all Charleston High School JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Student-Athletes and coaches quarantine through February 20. As a result, all CHS Boys Basketball Games from February 9th to February 20th have been postponed.
