Charleston High School is proud of the above students and the work they have done to become strong students and well-rounded individuals. They have proven themselves, both in the school and in the community, to be excellent examples of character, leadership, service, and scholarship. There will be a formal induction in the spring. Once again, congratulations.

The CHS Media is now open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 2pm until 3pm for checkouts! Students need to enter at the main office for a wellness screening before coming down to the library. Look through the photos at a few of the new books. Mrs. Runyon hopes to see you soon.

Students,
Did you know many of you are able to be an election judge? Now that Election Day is a holiday, you will not have to miss school to do so. If you have any questions about how to do this, Contact the County Clerk’s Office by phone: Coles County Clerk Election Division at 348-0523 or email elections@co.coles.il.us and express your interest in serving as a Judge of Election.
More information and requirements are available at the link below!

Tonight's tennis match at home vs Robinson has been cancelled. We will try to schedule a make up date soon.

CHS Students and Families,
We were made aware on Friday that there were negative things being said about CHS students on a social media platform. We quickly began working on this issue when notified. We have reported the account/posts to the platform. We have shared the information with the Charleston Police Department. We are continually working on this matter. We have higher expectations for our students than what was demonstrated here. We expect our students to conduct themselves appropriately at all times both in-person and online. The type of behavior exhibited through these recent posts is completely unacceptable. We expect more from our students.
