Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all who have served or have family members that have served.
Wishing best of luck to the members of CHS’ Maximum Forte as they head out to Ohio this weekend to attend the Kettering National High School A Cappella Festival. This year they were selected as one of 6 featured groups on the Friday night academic showcase concert from over 50 groups. Check out their live stream performance on the Charleston IL Music Boosters Facebook page this evening which will go live around 6:45, or follow their adventures this weekend on Instagram at Maximum_Forte.
Congratulations to the following students selected for ILMEA Vocal District Festival this weekend: Olivia Bennett, Josie Wehrle, Annabel Wehrle, Taryn Cole, Lois Baker, and Isaiah Sawyer. If you would like to check out their performance, the concert will be on Saturday Nov. 13th at 2:30pm in the Recital Hall at the Doudna Fine Arts Center of EIU’s campus. Great work singers! We are so proud of your hard work and this fantastic achievement!
