CHS Daily Announcements

Today’s Announcements are for Monday, September 19, 2022

Scholastic Bowl practice will begin on Monday, September 26th.

This week is Celebrate Banned Books Week. The American Library Association explains: "Banned Books Week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools." The CHS library has a display of "books that have all been targeted for removal or restriction in libraries and schools" across the country. To celebrate the freedom to read, any student who checks out any book this week can choose a sticker to put on a water bottle, notebook, or laptop case.
