Today’s Announcements are for Tuesday, August 30, 2022

Yearbooks from last school year will be distributed TODAY. Sophomores may pick theirs up during WIN time, Juniors and Seniors may pick theirs up after school. If you do not pick up today, please pickup during WIN time or after school on Wednesday. Yearbooks can be picked up by the yearbook room, where the 300 and 400 hallways meet.

If you are interested in the Bass Fishing program, please plan to attend an informational meeting this Wednesday, August 31st at 7pm in the Lecture Hall.  Students and parents are welcome to attend.

A representative from EIU will be in the library on Tuesday, Sept. 6th. If you are interested in meeting with them, please see guidance for a pass.

Representatives from the Army will be here Wednesday, September 7th   from 11:30-12:30.  They will have a table set up on the backside of the library.  Please stop by if you are interested.

The Trojets Dance Team will be having a second tryout! Tryouts are Thursday, September 29 through Saturday, October 1st. Packets are in the office. Please contact Coach G if you have any questions!

This is the last week to get your Trojets fan apparel! Contact a dancer to get yours!

Honor Roll Game passes are in!  Anyone that made the honor roll last semester has a game pass in the office.  These will get you into any home sporting event free of charge. (tournaments not included) You may pick up honor roll cards in the office this week before or after school, during study halls or during lunch. 

 Please do not miss class to get your card.  

Homecoming tickets will be on sale during Lunch/Win times in the Media Center through 9/1. Tickets are $5.00. Guest Passes are available to pick up at the ticket table or in the office. Guest Forms must be turned in by August 31st. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

 If you are interested in competing for you class during the Homecoming Pep assembly Friday you may sign up in the Lecture Room during Lunch/WIN or study hall times. The events are as follows

Tug of War (team of 10), Dodgeball (team of 8), Knockout (3 per class), Ping pong Relay (8 per class)

Cup Stacking Challenge (1 per class)

Students competing in these events will be drawn lottery style. Due to time constraints not all events may occur during the assembly. Sign ups will be posted this week.

 The Coles County Health Department has a part-time secretarial position available for approximately two hours each afternoon, Monday-Friday. This could be 1-3 p.m. or 2-4 p.m. If interested, please see Mrs. Niebrugge in Room 312.
