· Summer's Not Over Homecoming 2026 is approaching fast!!!!! If you need a guest pass for a guest that does NOT attend CHS they are available in the office. All guest passes are due Wednesday, September 23. Late passes will NOT be accepted, and CHS secretaries will NOT fax them to other schools.
· Students Check your emails for forms to participate in Powder Puff and Ironman Volleyball. Forms are due Friday, September 11th. This year you will fill out the form to sign up and then see Ms. Keeton to order your shirt, and she will take the participation fee. If you have any questions or need help with the participation fee, see Ms. Keeton. All the money is due September 18th.
· Starting Thursday, September 10, Sgt. Lupo with the Active Duty/Army Reserve will be in the Cafeteria during WIN on Thursdays.

The CHS Interact Club is collecting book donations for their Little Free Library Houses around Charleston. If you’d like to donate, please bring books to Ms. Scamihorn’s room, Room 412. Every book makes a difference!”

· Seniors- The First Federal Savings & Loan of Central IL Scholarship, Philip & Brittany Sterling Leadership Scholarship, and South-Central FS Scholarship have been updated on the CHS Local Scholarship page.
· Juniors and seniors today is the day for you to register to attend the Lake Land College Career Day on Tuesday, October 6. LLC Career Day allows you to attend brief presentations from experts in their fields and attend the career and college fair, military included! You must pick up a registration packet from the guidance office. It is a first come first serve for all the presentations, so the sooner you register the better! If you have any questions, email your counselor.

Come check out our grab and go racks on Wednesday and Thursday this week in the basement and near the cafeteria. We have women's and men's clothes that gotta go before it starts getting cold! · "The Charleston Rotary Club is now accepting applications from students to be Rotary Youth Exchange students in the 2027-28 school year.
· Rotary Youth Exchange is for high school students ages 15-18. Most students go on exchange their junior year or the year after graduation, before starting college. Rotary exchanges with about 40 countries and you will be hosted by two or three families. Rotary provides a $75 a month allowance during the exchange.
