· Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for Red Roses and Romance at CHS!!! Sadie Hawkins Dance will be on February 21st in Baker Gym. Tickets will go on sale Feb 11th for $10 per person.
o Guest passes are available in the office.
o They are due Feb 18th

· The Charleston FFA Alumni and Supports Scholarship application has been updated on the CHS Guidance Local Scholarship page. It is due February 27, 2026.
· The Leslee McGinness Endowment Scholarship application has been updated on the CHS Guidance Local Scholarship page. It was also emailed out to seniors and parents. It is due March 16, 2026.
· ACT Prep Opportunity!
Math ACT prep will be offered during WIN B in Mr. Hudson’s room each week and will focus on ACT math skills and strategies. Freshmen will meet on Tuesdays, sophomores on Wednesdays, and juniors on Thursdays. This is a great opportunity to prepare and build confidence for the ACT.
· Seniors, the Lloyd & Selma Sweeney Scholarship has been updated on the guidance website and emailed to you. It is available for students going into a healthcare-related field or agriculture. The application deadline is February 13.
· The Thread n’ Gold clothing room is packed with winter gear. Want in? Fill out a card- all the way- and drop it into our mailbox outside of room 107. And yes, before you ask, everything is free!
· Attention sophomores and juniors! The Fall 2026 Internship application is now open.
o The deadline for all applications, which are completed in SchooLinks, as well as three teacher recommendations are due by Friday, February 27, 2026. Please see Mrs. Niebrugge with questions.
