Seniors and Early grads who still need to order Cap and Gowns! Jessica Hageman with Jostens will be here before school on Thursday, Dec 4th from 8 to 8:45am. She will be set up outside of Baker Gym. This is the last time she will be here for Cap and Gown orders. If you have not ordered, please do so!
Sophomore, Junior and Senior students- an EIU representative will be here THIS Thursday, December 4 to answer any and all your questions about Eastern Illinois University! Please check your school email for details and how to sign up to meet with her! The deadline to schedule an appointment is Wednesday, December 3.
Are you interested in taking a dual credit class or wondering how the one you are enrolled in will transfer to the college you want to go to? Our Laker Connect Counselor will be here from Lake Land College on Friday, December 12. Check your school email for details and how to sign up to meet with her! We will be holding our December Lunch, Listen, and Learn Session on Wednesday, December 3rd. Help us welcome Chef Matt Jacobs from the Culinary program at LIFT as he presents a session on the different types of culinary degrees available and how a culinary degree could help you achieve your desired career goals. The presentation will begin at 11:40am, so be sure to grab your lunch before you come down for the entirety of the WIN/lunch hour. Make sure to check in with your WIN teacher to get permission to attend. WIN students will be asked to sign in and out of the lecture. Baker Gym/Music area will be closed for WIN A and B on this day.
Get into the holiday spirit by joining the CHS Chorus Department for their Winter Concert on Friday, December 5th at 7:00pm. The concert is free with doors opening for our audience members at 6:30pm.
