• Attention Students and CHS Families: The CHS Tri-M/ILMHS Music Honor Society chapter, with support from our Friendsgiving Tree donors, is providing meal kits for students and families who could use a little extra help this season. Each kit comes with the ingredients and an easy recipe card with everything you would need make a meal for a family of 4-6. Stop by and grab a kit from the shelves in the Guidance Office anytime during the school day

• Sophomore, Junior and Senior students- an EIU representative will be here THIS Thursday, December 4 to answer any and all your questions about Eastern Illinois University!  Please check your school email for details and how to sign up to meet with her! The deadline to schedule an appointment is Wednesday, December 3. 

• Are you interested in taking a dual credit class or wondering how the one you are enrolled in will transfer to the college you want to go to?  Our Laker Connect Counselor will be here from Lake Land College on Friday, December 12.   Check your school email for details and how to sign up to meet with her!  The deadline to schedule an appointment is Wednesday, December 10.

• There will be a Track Meeting on December 9th at 8:10am in the Driver’s Ed Room.

• Freezing your way through winter? Not on our watch. Swing by the Thread n’ Gold Room located in room107 in the basement and grab yourself some fab winter gear. We’re talking coats, sweaters, and all the snug vibes—all 100% FREE, as always.

• Just fill out a quick request card.  Yes, fill it all the way and then get ready to strut out warm and stylish. Stay toasty, look good doing it, and come see us soon!

• Reminder for Spring Internship Applicants: All Spring Internship applications and required forms are due by December 1. This includes securing an approved placement and completing all required forms in SchooLinks. Please see Mrs. Niebrugge with any questions.

• Trojan brew would really appreciate student support, we have new coffee drinks and so much more!!! Come on down and get some delicious coffee. We are open morning and lunch.
