· Seniors- please check your e-mail for instructions on how to submit a senior quote to be published with your senior portrait in the yearbook. We need your quote by this Friday, October 31. Thanks in advance for helping us make this yearbook special for you!
· Please check your email for directions on how to verify that your yearbook portrait and name caption are correct. We are trying something new this year to reduce errors in student portraits and need your help. If you find an error, you have until November 7 to report it to us using the form linked in the email.
· The media center is hosting Halloween Trivia during the second half of lunch on October 31st. Teams of 2-4 players can test their knowledge about scary movies and music, candy, creatures and characters, and all things pumpkin. See Mrs. Darimont in the media center to sign up.
· Wrestling will have an information meeting today at 3:30 pm in the wrestling room.
· CHS Science Club is hosting their annual community blood drive on Thursday, October 30th from 8am to 1pm. Please be sure to help our local community's lifesaving blood supply by donating if you can. Students must be at least 16 and anyone under 17 will need a signed permission slip available in the front office prior to donating. Please schedule your appointment by scanning the QR codes located all over the building. See Ms. H or any science club member for help. Donors will receive $20 gift card of their choice.
· All students who have signed up for STEM Day this Thursday, October 30 should meet at Baker Gym doors to board the bus, which will leave promptly at 8:00 a.m. Please dress appropriately and wear closed-toe shoes. We plan to return to CHS by 2:30 p.m.
· We will holding our October Student Music Recital in the CHS Auditorium during the WIN/Lunch hour today. Come out and have lunch with us while supporting your friends as they sing SPOOKY music just in time for Halloween! The performance will begin at 11:40am so be sure to grab your lunch before you come down. We do ask that if you attend that you stay for the entirety of the performance until 12:25 out of respect for the performers. If you are interested in attending and you are in a required WIN, make sure to check in with your WIN teacher to get permission to attend. WIN students will be asked to sign in and out of the performance. The doors will The Baker Gym/Music area will also be closed for WIN A and B on this day.
