Good morning CHS!
· Seniors, early grads, and sophomores – a representative from Jostens will be here tomorrow during lunch. She will have graduation information for seniors and early grads. She will have class ring information for sophomores. Make sure to stop by the cafeteria during lunch to see her!
· NHS Tutoring center will be closed this week. Please come see us with your questions again during WIN A on Monday, October 6th.
· Are you creative and interested in making art after school? Do you wish you could take art class but don't have room in your schedule? Join Art Club for our first meeting on Thursday, October 2nd from 3:30-4:00 in Room 103, where we will be discussing our plans and projects we will be doing this year. Whether you are a beginner or a skilled artist, all are welcome!
· Be sure to check the Lost and Found by the Bus Doors near the Cafeteria for any lost items. All items are donated on Tuesdays of each week.
· Fall fits are in at the Thread n' Gold Clothing Room; fresh and free fall clothing arriving daily. Come grab your favorite clothing before it's gone. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays during 6&8 periods. Come down to room 107 in the basement. Fill out a card completely and drop it in our mailbox. Style it up this season and remember it's all FREE!
· The Media Center is hosting Halloween Trivia during the second half of lunch on October 1st. Teams of 2-4 players can test their knowledge about scary movies and music, candy, creatures and characters, and all things pumpkin. There is room for three more teams to sign up! See Mrs. Darimont in the Media Center to sign up.
· Cleaning out your house or garage? CHS Marching band is having a rummage sale for their band trip fundraiser. Bring your junk to become someone else’s treasure. Donation drop off is Tuesday, Sept 30, Wednesday, Oct 1, and Thursday Oct 2 from 6-9 pm at the Coles County Fairgrounds in the Merchant Building.
