Good morning CHS!

·         The Charleston Rotary Club is now accepting applications from students to be Rotary Youth Exchange students in the 2026-27 school year. To apply or for more information, see Ms. Scamihorn in Room 412 by September 26.

·         Senior girls – The P.E.O. Star Scholarship folders and applications for senior girls are due today by 3:30 pm in the guidance office.

·         Picture re-take day will be this Friday, September 26 during periods 1-3. 

·         Students, please check your email for a survey checking for interest in a course about American Sign Language.

·         Indiana State University will be here Thursday, September 25th.

·         Today, we will be holding our 1st Student Music Recital in the CHS Auditorium during the WIN/Lunch hour. This month, our theme is the Music of Broadway! We will also be revealing the title of the CHS Musical for the Spring during the show! The performance will begin at 11:40am so be sure to grab your lunch and bring it down to the Auditorium before the show starts. Required WIN students: check your emails for details on how to attend. The Baker Gym/Music area will be closed for WIN A and B on this day.

·         Students, are you interested in tabletop games – like Dungeons & Dragons, card games, or board games? We’re starting a new Tabletop Games Club. Come to our first meeting today during WIN B in room 312. Beginners or seasoned players are welcome!

·         Bring a non-perishable food item tonight to the Ironman volleyball game! Let’s see what class collects the most food for the Charleston food pantry. Players please get your shirt from Ms. Keeton today.

·         Are you creative and interested in making art after school? Do you wish you could take art class but don't have room in your schedule? Join Art Club for our first meeting on Thursday, October 2nd from 3:30-4:00 in Room 103, where we will be discussing our plans and projects we will be doing this year. Whether you are a beginner or a skilled artist, all are welcome!

·         Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets today during WIN B in room 213B. We’d love to see you there!

·         Be sure to check the Lost and Found by the Bus Doors near the Cafeteria for any lost items. All items are donated on Tuesdays of each week.

·         Girls golf dismissed at 1:30. XC at 3:00.
