· This Wednesday, September 10th, we will be kicking off our "Lunch, Listen, and Learn" (L3) series for the school year in the Auditorium. A Classical concert and talkback session will be led by EIU music professors Paul Johnston, Dr. Rebecca Johnson, and Jim Kim during the WIN/Lunch period focusing on the music of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto. The concert will include flute, violin, viola, cello, double bass, and harpsichord performances. Grab your lunch and head down to the auditorium by 11:40 for the start of the concert. If you would like to attend but are in WIN, please check in with your WIN teacher prior to the day of performance to get in the list to attend. The performance is also open to non-WIN students. The event will last from 11:40am-12:25pm. We do ask that students stay for the whole performance out of respect for our guests. Baker Gym, the Baker Gym Hallway, and the West Gym/Music area will not be open for WIN/lunch on these L3 dates.
· Homecoming tickets are on sale ONLY at lunchtime in the cafeteria. They are $10 per person. The last day to purchase tickets will be Wednesday, September 10. Guest passes are due September 10. No late passes will be accepted and CHS will not fax forms to other schools.
