Announcements for Monday, August 25, 2025
Good morning CHS!
· Attention Senior Girls: The P.E.O. Star Scholarship folders and applications are due this Wednesday, September 24, 2025 by 3:30 pm in the guidance office.
· Picture day is Friday, August 29. Students will have their portraits taken during health, PE and drivers Ed classes. Pictures will be taken in the south balcony of Baker gym. Teachers, check your school email for more information on when to get your portrait taken.
· If you ordered a P.E. uniform from CHS Industries over the summer or within the past 2 weeks, it is located for pick up in Baker Gym and is labeled with your parents’ last name or the person that ordered it online.
· Homecoming guest passes are available in the front office and due September 10th. Homecoming tickets will be on sale September 3-10 for $10. Homecoming court nominations will be next week! Keep an eye on your email.
· Powder Puff and Ironman Volleyball sign up deadline is September 10. Please see Ms. Keeton or your class representative to sign up!
· This year Luke Bryan and IL FFA is doing a can do challenge. This requires canned/non=perishable food donations. Out of these donations we will be required to make a farm themed scene. Please send all donations to the ag building or office by September 2nd.
· Science Club is a student driven club that not only collaborates to recycle but also explores student interests such as stars or geology. Please join us for our second meeting in room 207 during Win A tomorrow, Tuesday August 26th. Everyone is welcome.
· The Varsity football team is looking for student assistants. Come be a part of something special while having a front row view to all the action. If you are interested in being a manager, please see Coach Halsey immediately in room 304. Trojan Up!
· The following boys golf members that are going today need dismissed at 10:15.
· Girls tennis needs dismissed at 3:00 today.
