Good morning CHS!
· If you pre-ordered last year’s yearbook, you’re invited to pick up your copy on Friday, August 22 during lunch in the media center. Come grab your yearbook and get your friends to sign it. You’ll also be able to enter a drawing for a prize related to the theme of the book. If you didn’t order your book, we have limited extra copies available for $75 per copy. Bring a check made out to CHS. Can’t wait to see you there!
· Attention Senior Girls: The P.E.O. Star Scholarship information packet folders are available in the guidance office. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, are a citizen or legal permanent residence of the United States, plan to attend an accredited post-secondary education institution, and exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, and community service. Please pick these application folders up as soon as possible. They are due on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 3:30 pm in the guidance office.
· Today is the day! Join us in the Thread n’ Gold room for our open house from 11:30 – 12:30 in room 107 in the basement.
· Homecoming guest passes are available in the front office and due September 10th.
· It’s that time of year again to get excited for Powderpuff football and Iron Man volleyball. These are two big fundraisers for student council. Please see Ms. Keeton in her classroom to sign up to play or coach. Powderpuff is September 17th and Ironman Volleyball is September 24.
· Wrestling will have open gym for boys and girls on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:00 in the wrestling room.
· Bass Fishing meeting will be tonight at 7 pm in the Ag Building for anyone interested.
