·         Reminder that the Kristin Runyon ASE scholarship applications for a cappella, sports, and English are due by the end of the school day today.

·         This week is National Prevention Week! It can be easy in a small community to think that EVERYONE is drinking. It’s important to remember that you can be a positive influence on your friends. In a world that says alcohol is OK, remember that alcohol can damage your brain and can keep you from reaching your goals. Don’t join the pack and stay alcohol free! During lunch period today, visit Prevention Specialist Olivia Jenkins to play a game and win some candy!

·         Please check your school email on a daily basis for emails from guidance regarding schedules for next year.

·         The last day for Freshman through juniors to check out books from the media center is May 8^th. All senior books are due back by May 9^th.

·         Blossom into spring fashion by shopping with us in the Thread-n-Gold! We have your spring and summer needs like shorts, tank tops, dresses, hats, and more.  We also have lots of men shirts for the upcoming prom and something for the ladies too. We are in room 107 in the basement. And remember, everything is FREE. See you soon!

·         Congratulations to the eSports Mario Kart Team of Aiden Villalobos, Riley Comstock, Lilly Zerbst, and Robbie Zerbst for finishing second place at sectionals last weekend.  Also, congratulations to the eSports Super Smash Brothers team of Estrella Olalde, Isaiah Baji, Drew Dow, Noah Step, Aiden Meado, and Thomas Twigg who finished second at sectionals in their event.  Both teams will compete at state this weekend in Chicago.  Way to represent Charleston and good luck at the state finals!
