The deadline for schedule change requests for this semester is today at 3 pm. Please stop by the guidance office or email your counselor. Students with last name beginning with A-K need to email Mrs. Nelson and the students with last name beginning with L-Z need to email Mrs. Meeker.
WIN Rosters are being adjusted. Please check your schedules. If you now have a WIN on your schedule, please report to your WIN class through today. Freshman and Sophomores, you need to have C’s or better to get out of WIN. Juniors and Seniors, you cannot have an F in any course, if you are in WIN due to F’s and at midterm get your grades all above passing you can be moved out of WIN. Juniors will need 15 credits or more to also stay out of WIN and Seniors 21 credits or more.
Looking to get involved in the CHS musical either on the stage or behind the scenes? There will be an informational meeting for those students interested in auditioning for the Spring Musical and/or joining one of our crews for the production on Tuesday, January 9th in the auditorium during WIN A. We will be discussing the audition process, rehearsal schedules, and expectations for those interested in being a part of the cast as well as discussing how to apply for one of the many different types of crew positions available. We are looking for talented students who are passionate about singing, dancing, acting, as well as those that are interesting in painting, costuming, makeup design, hospitality, heavy lifting, building things, stage lighting, etc. If you are looking for a place to be a part of something fast-paced and exciting here at CHS with a large group of creative and talented students, this is the place for you! Auditions for cast members are January 15th and 16th and crew applications are due back on January 18th. See Mrs. Sharp in the Chorus Room if you have questions.
Seniors-If you plan to attend Lake Land College and want to apply for the Presidential Scholarship see your counselor. You must be in the top 15% of your class or have a SAT total of 1230 or higher or ACT composite of 26 or higher.

January 8-There is a mandatory meeting for all current 11th grade students in the auditorium during Win time from 11:30-12:00.
January 10-There is a mandatory meeting for all current 10th grade students in the auditorium during Win time from 11:30-12:00.
January 11-There is a mandatory meeting for all current 9th grade students in the auditorium during Win time from 11:30-12:00.
At these meetings counselors will be going over registration information for the next school so it is very important everyone attends their meeting! You will also receive your course registration form at this meeting.
