Senior Celebration is today in the cafeteria during lunch hours. If you placed an order for Senior gear through Josten’s, plan to pick it up at this time. Please note that this does not include cap and gown. Those will arrive at a later date.
Seniors, your color senior portrait is due to yearbook on Tuesday, December 19 if you would like to have it published in the yearbook free of charge. After that date, there will be a $10 fee to publish the photo. Photos do not have to be professionally done. E-mail photos to Mr. Cohoon. If you have questions see Mr. Cohoon or editors Emma Floyd or McKinley Ueleke.
We are preparing for the Student Council’s Annual Ironman Volleyball Game in February. Please see Mrs. Keeton STARTING MONDAY to sign up. You will need a permission slip and T-shirt order form. There will be a meeting on January 17 at 8:15am to go over rules and information in Mrs. Keeton’s room. There will be 15 players per team and two coaches. This is a food drive fundraiser so admission will be a minimum of one dry good product. You are encouraged to bring more for a friendly competition between classes to see who can bring the most.
Student Council members need to see Mrs. Keeton to RSVP to the StuCo Christmas Party on December 13.
Congratulations to Devere Hatfield on wining 5th place this last Saturday at Landkmark Bowling in Peoria at the Region I Special Olympics State Playoffs.
Congratulations to Carl Prindable and Spencer Myerscough on placing 2nd place at the Region I Special Olympics Unified Cornhole competition on Saturday.
If you see Devere, Carl or Spencer out today in the halls please congratulate them on their hard work and good sportsman like conduct in representing Charleston High School.
