CHS Daily Announcements

Today’s Announcements are for Thursday, May 18, 2023

The Thread n' Gold room will have a Spring and Summer Open House today during lunch/WIN time.   Come by and see all the new arrivals!  Remember that everything is FREE!  Also, this will be the last day the Thread n' Gold will be open for the school year.

There will be a meeting today during the WIN B to talk about Junior Tennis for the Summer. The meeting will be held in room 105.  We encourage Boys and Girls who play High School Tennis to show up as well. Please stop by the front office for a flyer and Program Waiver that will need to be signed by a parent.

Students, just a few more days and the semester will be over!  As exciting as it is, sometimes things happen and don't turn out the way you would like.  (As in those final grades.) If you are facing the possibility of failing a course, you have the opportunity to take summer school (for free!) as a way to make up credits and keep yourself on track for graduation.  Summer school is from June 5-June 29.  It meets Monday- Thursday from 8am-noon.  You will have June 19 off, so you are only there for 15 days.  You get almost two weeks off before it starts and 6 weeks of vacation after it is over.  You may even be able to complete your credit sooner and be dismissed from summer school early!

If this sounds like the deal you need, grab your registration form from guidance or the front office.  It would be best to return it to the office prior to the end of the day on May 23rd, but you have until the end of the day Friday, June 2.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hughes in room 412.

Youth Alive is a Christ centered club run by students who want to show God’s love to others.  Today is the last meeting for this year.  There will be a party in room 301 during WIN A to celebrate.  We would love to see you there.

Huge THANK YOU to the Trojan Brew crew for providing us with delicious drinks and treats this school year.
