Today’s Announcements are for Thursday, April 13, 2023
May 1st is Decision Day. Students will be dismissed from your English class and the Journalism class will be taking photos of Seniors in the media center. More information will be available closer to the date.
Attention Prom Goers! Free dresses will be available Wednesday, April 19th afterschool till 4 pm in the 400 wing. Come and see what a wide selection we have. This will be a one day only event and the remaining dresses will be donated.
Seniors-Charleston Squadron #93, of the Sons of the American Legion is sponsoring an art/essay contest to honor our fallen veterans. There is prize money for the winners. See your school email or Mrs. Nelson in the guidance office for more details.
The library has discarded books available for students to take. Most of these books are old nonfiction books. They are on tables along the east wall, which is the wall shared with the cafeteria. Any books remaining by midweek next week will be recycled or donated.
The library will be closed today for testing. Students will have no access to printers, tech repairs, die cuts, and it will not be open during the lunch periods.
Seniors: There will be a senior breakfast held on May 12th in the CHS Media Center from 9:30-11:00 before graduation practice. Please check your emails to fill out a RSVP survey so that we have the appropriate amount of food and drinks to celebrate your achievement! The RSVP survey will close Monday at 3:20.
Seniors, please plan to attend an important meeting to go over the upcoming events for graduation with Mr. Lock in the auditorium on Friday, April 28th at 8:40am.
The Girls soccer will be dismissed at 1:45, Boys and Girls Track team as well as the JV Baseball at 2:00 today.
