Today’s Announcements are for Friday, February 17, 2023

The library has a couple book displays for February. To celebrate Valentine's blind date a romance book—choose a wrapped book based on a review. When you check out one of these books, you will get a Valentine's sticker. To celebrate Black History Month, check out the fiction and nonfiction book displays. When you check out one of their books, we will get to choose a Black History Month sticker. Both displays will be up through the end of February.

Sadie Hawkins ticket sales will take place in the Media Center during WIN A and B through the 24th for $5. Students can pick up a guest pass in the office and are allowed to bring one guest. All guest passes need to be turned into the office by February 22nd. As a reminder, heels are not allowed on the gym floor. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the dance for $10. The dance will be from 7-9pm on Feb. 25th.

There will be a meeting for any boys interested in playing tennis this year Tuesday February 21st during A Win in Coach Hudson's classroom.

Due to the holiday on Monday, Trojan Brew will be closed on Tuesday, but will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. 

Hiram Rhodes Revels was the first African American ever elected to the U.S. Senate. He represented the state of Mississippi from February 1870 to March 1871.
