Today’s Announcements are for Wednesday, February 15, 2023

The library has a couple book displays for February. To celebrate Valentine's blind date a romance book—choose a wrapped book based on a review. When you check out one of these books, you will get a Valentine's sticker. To celebrate Black History Month, check out the fiction and nonfiction book displays. When you check out one of their books, we will get to choose a Black History Month sticker. Both displays will be up through the end of February.

Art Club will have a meeting for all who are interested during WIN A today in room 103.  We will discuss goals and possible projects for the rest of the school year, as well as elect student leaders.

Trojan Brew will be selling chocolate chip cookies today and Thursday this week! Come and get them while they last.

Sadie Hawkins ticket sales will take place in the Media Center during WIN A and B through the 24th for $5. Students can pick up a guest pass in the office and are allowed to bring one guest. All guest passes need to be turned into the office by February 22nd. As a reminder, heels are not allowed on the gym floor. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the dance for $10. The dance will be from 7-9pm on Feb. 25th.

Seniors- multiple scholarships have been emailed to your school email and also updated on the guidance website.

Baseball open gym is being moved to 3:30-5:30 down at the HS field today.

George Washington Carver developed 300 derivative products from peanuts among them:  cheese, milk, coffee, flour, ink, dyes, plastics, wood stains, soap, linoleum, medicinal oils and cosmetics.
