This was the type of windy morning that could blow over a few trash dumpsters! Having departed Mark Twain Elementary School this morning, I encountered a parent along Taylor Avenue who parked her car and turned on her hazard lights in front of a big bag of trash that was blocking the street. She got out of her car and returned the bag to a nearby fallen dumpster. Had to give a "shout out" to parent Cory Sims! Taking time to do the little things in life can make a big difference -- perhaps preventing an accident! Thank you for being a good community member, Mrs. Sims!

As we prepare for dismissal this afternoon, we ask for your patience as buses may run late taking students home.
