My Ride 360

We started using a new system for our busing this year, and it comes with some new updated features. Most notably for parents is the ability to track your child's bus and it's exact GPS location through the My Ride 360 app! Use the links below to get this free app:

Apple My Ride 360

Google Play My Ride 360

In order for this feature to work for your student(s), they must first be registered to regularly ride a school bus before and/or after school.  This means they would have a bus number or numbers assigned to them in Skyward for AM and/or PM. Next, you need to create an account by going to:  https://myridek12.tylerapp.com/. You will need to know your child's 5-digit school code. (same as the one used for their lunch account and viewing/purchasing school pictures) This app is intended to be used to track *scheduled bus riders* daily bus routes to and/or from school.

Please Keep in Mind:

The following are examples of situations when the app will NOT be able to show you the location of your child's bus:

  1. Field trips or activities that use a school bus for transportation
  2. Students temporarily riding a different bus number than what has been assigned to them in Skyward (i.e. when buses temporarily combine due to mechanical issues or staffing shortages) Side note - we do our best to always try and inform parents of any day-to-day changes like this via text.
  3. Students that are assigned more than one bus number (i.e. split custody situations when a student's pickup/drop-off locations vary from day to day) If there is more than one bus number listed in Skyward for the same time of day, we have found that the app won't display either one of those bus GPS locations.
