Last Friday, Charleston Middle School held its' annual Leader in Me Activity Day which included a volley tennis tournament. Mrs. Lutz's 3rd hour class was the champion of the tournament. #cms#cusd1

Members of the CMS 7th Grade Service Group ran a donation drive for a local homeless shelter during the month of October. CMS raised over $450 in cash and item donations. We thank all of Charleston for helping make this a successful donation drive.

CMS 8th graders participated in their first incentive of the school year. Thank you to the VFW for letting CMS borrow the BINGO cards. The students had a great time winning prizes playing BINGO while enjoying soda and popcorn.

CMS Eco Team had a great time competing at Lake Shelbyville's Eco-Meet. The students competed in the categories of Illinois Nuts and Berries, Illinois Snakes, and Orienteering. Over 20 schools competed at the JV level. Go Science! #cmscusd1
