CMS Book Bistro participants previewed new books and synergized at Makerspace today. Students combined engineering and circuit connections to create unique designs and even make objects fly to the ceiling! CMS 8 Gold students participated in Earth day activities including community service. Student helped get the Community Garden ready for planting and weeded and mulched around the building. It was a perfect day to be outside!!

Morning Minutes – Earth Day Activity
Mrs. Sherwood’s and Mrs. Adams’ Morning Minutes classes began an Earth Day activity called Cookie Excavating. Students “drilled” for chocolate chips while mapping how the cookie (land) was affected. Tomorrow, they will discuss how excavation disturbed habitats and connect it to human impact on the Earth.
