Trojan Build Center

Renovations for the new Trojan Build Center will begin in early 2022 and will include two updated classrooms, shared office space, and a larger, open, and more flexible shop space. The shop space will be large enough for various projects ranging from woodworking, construction, welding, small engines, plant science, and metalworking. Students will have access to high-quality, state-of-the-art tools including a joiner, planer, CNC plasma table, saw stop table saw, and multi-process welders.

The building will include an addition on the southeast corner that will serve as the CHS Industries storefront and point of sale for community members to purchase industry-created products. There will be a large greenhouse connected to the building where students in the horticulture class will grow holiday plants, annuals, perennials, and other garden crops to sell to the community.

This modern facility will provide opportunities for students interested in the CTE pathways and prepare them with the necessary career-ready skills to benefit our community.

An open house, to showcase the new upgrades, will be planned once the building is complete.

Construction Trades students built and reassembled a 10 x 12 storage shed. Next up is a 16 x 20 storage shed for Mark Twain.

Other projects in the works by our agriculture and industrial technology classes include:
