We understand many families may be affected by recent federal changes delaying SNAP (food assistance) benefits. Please know that all students in our district are eligible for a free breakfast and lunch each day.  If your family is experiencing food insecurity, local food banks and pantries are available to help. Please see the attached flyers with information about local resources that may be able to help those in need: https://5il.co/3s0xk

Today marks the beginning of National School Principals Week! Be sure to thank any/all of our amazing principals here at Charleston CUSD#1 for all the great things they do. Great leaders inspire greatness in others and create more great leaders, and we couldn't ask for a better team of individuals to accomplish that in our district. We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Lock, Mr. Wood, Mrs. Brimner, Mr. Lynn, Mr. Mayhall, Mr. Ulm, Mr. Marlo, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Mahaffey, Mrs. Morgan, and Mrs. Titus for all being the type of leaders that we would want to follow!
