Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students
Although schools will be closed through March 30, 2020 due to COVID-19, students will have access to a free lunch and breakfast. Typically, CUSD1 does not offer meals to students during Spring Break. However, beginning Friday, March 20, 2020 meals will be offered to anyone 18 years or younger (including preschoolers). If you are interested in obtaining a lunch, please use the link accompanying this post so we can gather information on how best to meet those needs. Questions asked in the survey will include information regarding the number of meals requested, food allergies and location of food pickup. Locations of food pick up are: Charleston Middle School, Lerna Elementary School, Ashmore Elementary School, and three other locations across our community.
