Announcements

Today is No One Eats Alone Day. Across the country thousands of schools will participate by ensuring no one eats alone on this day. We will sit with others on Friday and meet some of our other fellow classmates and community neighbors. We will also have various activities during lunch, help create a “growing” bulletin board, and will even have some of our teachers visit with us during lunch

This week CMS staff is looking for students who are respectful to everyone.  Be kind and helpful to everyone!

Students, please check your email and take the Trojan Trivia Survey to pick your top 10 categories for our upcoming half day activity.

Today’s Black History Month spotlight is on the NAACP, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Spurred by growing racial violence in the early 20th century, and particularly by 1908 race riots in Springfield, IL, a group of black American leaders joined together to form this new civil rights organization.

Enjoy your 3 day weekend!
