Stop by the IMC and place your guess of the number of hearts and kisses in the jars! The winner will be announced on February 14th and receive the candy just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Students and staff will be able to guess whose pet goes with each CMS staff member. There will be a board set up in the IMC. Once you make your guesses, make sure and put your name on the guess sheet and put it in the envelope on the board, Prizes will be awarded. All guesses are due at 3:30 on Thursday, Feb. 8th.

Congratulations to our CMS Scholastic Bowl team that went 1-1 in both Varsity and JV matches with Paris-Crestwood and Mattoon last night. Lead scorer for JV was Andrei Chiritescu with 4 toss ups followed by Gavin Hudson with 3. Others getting toss ups were Sika Banini, Hunter Pickett, Ahmad Al Odeh, Brayden Armstrong, Harper Brantley, and Samuel Thomas.
Today's Black History Month spotlight is for Agricultural Scientist George Carver. Mr. Carver was responsible for creating over 500 new products made from peanuts and sweet potatoes, including cooking oils, paint, and soap.
