Beginning next week, we will have a Calligraphy Club (what’s calligraphy you may ask? Fancy handwriting!) It will meet Tues and Thursdays, every week, in the Lighthouse room from 8-8:25 am.
Congrats to the following students for performing in the Jazz District Festival this past weekend: Jack Sharp, Tyler Wayne, Phoebe Frey, Noah Northrop, Abel Truex, Brayden Cobb, Lydia Lock, Owen Davis, and Dylan Johnson. They represented Charleston as the largest group to make it to the middle school Jazz Festival. Great job musicians!
All CMS Students ---- Are you interested in being a part of the CMS musical Guys & Dolls? Tomorrow in Mr. Mellott’s room from 8-8:25 there will be an informational meeting where we will go over the audition and crew packets, as well as the music and dance auditions. Audition and crew packets are outside of Mr. Mellott’s room.

Dust off your dancing shoes, Student Leadership Council is hosting a Disco themed dance on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 6-8 pm. The cost is $5 to enter. Concessions will be for sale. Reminder to attend you must be present at school on the day of the dance and cannot have failing grades in 2 or more classes. Today we will be doing a final grade check for attendance.
The Student Leadership Council will be collecting socks and blankets for the Haven House in Mattoon all next week. We will have a collection box set up by the front doors to drop your donations into.
