Ashmore 3rd graders read the book Balloons Over Broadway and watched examples of Macy's Thanksgiving Day parades to gather ideas for their own balloons. The third-grade class earned electronics day for reaching their goal of 400 dojo points! Happy BYOD (bring your own device) to them!
The student lighthouse team at Ashmore Elementary met early this month to come up with some ideas for possible Ashmore buck rewards. Two of our Firefly members (both first grade students) presented the group's ideas to our PTO at this month's meeting. Way to lead and find your voices!
One of the best times of the year is Grandparents' Week at Ashmore Elementary! We were so excited to see so many family members come in and eat lunch with our leaders. A special thank you to our PTO who ran the book fair and to our anonymous donor who gave every student the opportunity to pick out a book from the fair.
