Arrival

• Car riders (Please refer to the map here)

  • Students can be dropped off starting at 7:50am

  • Drop off in the northeast parking lot

  • Car riders enter through door 7

  • Parents/guardians please stay in your car – a staff member will help get your student out of the car

Dismissal

• Car riders (Please refer to the map here)

  • Pick up in the northeast parking lot, starting at 9:50am

  • Students will exit through door 7

  • Parents are asked to stay in their car – a staff member will help get your student loaded

  • Parents/Guardians will be given a car tag on the first day. Please place it on the rearview mirror each day at dismissal

  • Parents please enter the northeast lot from Reynolds Dr. and also exit to Reynolds Dr. to help avoid traffic from the 10-12 session.  

Other Information

• Students will receive Math and Reading instruction daily

• Grab-and-go breakfast will be available to students. Students wishing to eat breakfast, will grab breakfast from the cafeteria and eat in their summer school classroom

Illness/Absences

• Reporting Student Absences – please call 217-639-4000 to report your child’s absence. You can also contact the 24-hour attendance line at 217-639-4010 if you are calling your child in before/after office hours.

  • Parents/guardians please use McComb St. to enter and exit the parking lot at arrival to help avoid traffic from the 8-10 session.

    • This is a different parking lot than you used at arrival

  • Students will exit through door 7

    • This is a different door than they go in at arrival

  • Parents are asked to stay in their car – a staff member will help get your student loaded
