The last day of school is always such an exciting, but emotional day. I am proud of each and every student who blessed the halls of Mark Twain during the 25-26 school year. We had 176 days together. 176 days of laughter and learning. 176 days of recess, of lunch, of reading, of math. 176 days of hugs, of smiles and a few of those days, a couple tears. We were blessed with your kids for 176 days and in each of those days we were tasked with the responsibility to teach them their letters, numbers, shapes and colors. We were tasked with the responsibility to help them learn how to be a good friend, how to care for each other, how to be kind, how to be patient, how to work through hard things. I will miss your kids. I will miss their artwork and picked flowers. I will miss their hugs and high fives. I will miss their stories and imagination. I will miss seeing you at drop off and pick up. I will miss you at family nights, miss your phone calls, miss your emails, and will miss working with you. We have laid the foundation of their educational years and we cant wait to see what their future builds upon that foundation. Have a great summer! -Mrs. Titus

C is for collaboration was a great opportunity for CMS and Mark Twain students to work together to beautify our school grounds. Then today our blacktop got decorated with student chalk art for D is for Drawing day. Tomorrow is E is for EIU.
