School pictures were today and will be up for your viewing and ordering in the next couple days. Please see the attachment for directions on how to view and order. You will need to know your child's ID number, which can be found on the "student info" tab on skyward. The ID is listed beside "Other ID"

Each week teachers at Mark Twain pick 3 students as our "Star Students" of the week. These students are chosen based on their leadership skills and for exhibiting one of the 7 habits. Star students are announced over the announcements, they are highlighted on our website, and their picture is hung up in the hallway for the week. Mrs. Titus also visits the home and leaves a yard sign in the child's yard for the week. After their week is up, their picture in hung on our "wall of fame" for the year. Check our website each week to see our newest start students!
The Family Resource fair is a couple weeks away! Here is your friendly reminder to add it to your calendar. Two opportunities: Sep 8 and Sep 9, 6-8pm at the Charleston High School. We hope to see all of our Mark Twain families there!
Trying to keep up with all of the things can be tricky! We hope this sheet will be a good reference for our Mark Twain families for early dismissal, no school, and Leader in Me shirt days. We will be tie dying our Leader in Me shirts in September and they will be sent home with students once they are ready!

Attention Mark Twain Kindergarten Parents: Tomorrow (Thursday 5/15) at Mark Twain is T day so we are going to say T is for Trade and trade T for W so we can celebrate Water Day while the temps are warm and the rain isn't falling. Please send your Kindergartener with a swimsuit and towel tomorrow for Water Day! (T is for Tie-dye will now be celebrated Tuesday, May 20). Preschool students will celebrate T day tomorrow and will still have water day on Tuesday, May 20.
We are excited about this new tradition! We hope to see all Kindergarten students at Trojan Hill, Friday (May 9) to receive the Trojan Spirit from the seniors. Be at the football field around 6:15pm so you are ready for the event at 6:30pm.
