Picture Retakes: Just a reminder that picture retakes are Monday, February 1st. For remote students, 7:30a-8:30a is set aside to come in for pictures. Families bringing remote students should park in the teacher's lot across from the gym and assist their student across the road to go in the gym doors. Please do not use the bus lane to drop off your student for pictures.

A few reminders for next week: -Monday, November 2nd is a Remote Planning Day for Staff with no student attendance. -Tuesday, November 3rd is non-student attendance due to Election Day. -Wednesday, November 4th is our reopening of school for those attending in-person. We will continue to follow the 2-Hour Early Dismissal schedule. (*Please review our JES reopening plan on the school website for additional information for those returning to school) Also, Mrs. White will need in-person students to bring their art projects that they are currently working on to school when they return. Jefferson School has scheduled Parent-Teacher Conferences for Thursday, October 15th & Friday, October 16th. Conferences are available on Thursday the 15th in the evening from 4:00pm – 7:30pm. There will also be conferences offered on Friday the 16th from 8:00am – 3:00pm. Utilizing your Skyward account beginning Friday, October 2nd at 4:00pm, you will have access to sign up for a time slot with your student’s teacher. Upon arrival, we ask the 4th grade parent to enter/exit through the 4th grade hallway on the east side of JES, Door #3, You will be able to park in the gravel lot across from the gym. Upon arrival, we ask the 5th grade parent to enter/exit through the 5th grade hallway on the west side of JES, Door #7. You will be able to park in the staff lot by the playground. Upon arrival, we ask the 6th grade parent to enter/exit through the main entrance on the south side of JES, Door #1. You will be able to park in front of the school or church lots. There will be staff to guide you to the correct doors. In order to provide safety, we will ask that you wait outside until your chosen time nears. Before entering, a temperature check and symptom screening will take place. Face coverings are required. Once approved for entry, we will direct you to your student’s classroom. We also ask that you exit through the doors upon which you entered the building. -Click on the Conferences Tab for your student on the lower left of the screen -Then click on All Conferences -Next click on Select A Time -Finally click on Save -You will receive an email verifying date & time of your conference with the Teacher If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 639-7000.
