Good morning, CMS Trojans. Today is Monday, October 26, 2026.
We are celebrating CMS birthdays of Mason Koehler.
Do you know a veteran? Maybe a parent or a grandparent? CMS asks you to invite a veteran to this year’s Veterans Day program on Wednesday, November 11 on the campus of EIU. Please pick up a form in the office or from your Social Studies Teacher.
Cozy Up for a Cause: Battle of the Body Wash!
This is the last week for our competition with Mattoon Middle School. We are currently in the lead with 109 bottles of body wash to their 73 pairs of socks. Keep collecting to win the showdown and make the biggest difference for local families?
Student Leadership Council will be selling Ghost Grams during lunch's this week, through Thursday, $ 1.00 each, While supplies last. They will be given out on the 3oth of October during WIN.
There is a Student Leadership Council meeting on Tues. Oct. 27th at 8:00 in Mrs. Dow's room.
Our CMS Motto is “Lead with courage and inspire with kindness.”
Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind encourages us to write a personal mission statement. Like the picture of a jigsaw puzzle, a personal mission statement provides an end in mind. It is like a motto for your life.
It acts as a guide to follow when we need to make hard choices.
For today’s motto moment, let’s ask ourselves, “Do we all have a personal mission statement?”
Have a Marvelous Monday!
