Good morning, CMS Trojans. Today is Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
We are celebrating CMS birthdays of Elly Galbreath and Sofia Martinez Navarreto.
The CMS Service Group will meet tomorrow morning at 8:00 A.M. in Mr. Pitcher’s room.
We have a CMS shout out today for Levi Volk. This friend said, “He's been working really hard at rehearsals for the musical. He's also kind, funny, and helpful!”
We have another shout out today for Brandon Johnson. This classmate said, “He always is kind and looks out towards people.”
Do you know a veteran? Maybe a parent or a grandparent? CMS asks you to invite a veteran to this year’s Veterans Day program on Wednesday, November 11 on the campus of EIU. Please pick up a form in the office or from your Social Studies Teacher.
Attention students and staff!
Our Cozy Up for a Cause Body Wash Drive has officially begun! We're competing with Mattoon Middle School to see who can collect the most donations for families in need. Bring in your donations of body wash and place them in the box outside the office. Help us spread kindness, score points for our school, and make a real difference in our community. At the end of each week we will exchange our totals.
Let's lather up the competition and wash away the challenge!
Student Leadership Council members, our shirts are here. Please pick up in Mrs. Dow's room.
Our CMS Motto is “Lead with courage and inspire with kindness.”
Our mission statements give us purpose and direction.
For today’s motto moment, let’s ask ourselves, “How do our mission statements connect to our Wildly Important Goals?”
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
