Good morning, CMS Trojans. Today is Tuesday, September 29, 2026.  

We are celebrating CMS birthdays of Freyja Aumentado, Hadleigh Clapp, Naomi Garcia Cantu, and Bri Nix. 

 

Picture retakes for CMS students and staff will be tomorrow, September 30th beginning at 8:30. 

 

This Friday, October 2nd, will be a 2-hour early dismissal. CMS will be dismissed at 1:20. 

 

We have a CMS Shout out today for Meyer Cobb.  Michael said, " They have made me laugh and help me with work in Mr. Kanoues class. He has been a real helpful leader to me!" 

 

We have another CMS shout out today for JJ Honn.  Kyden said, "He has been my friend since day one he is one of the nicest people that I know." 

 

This is another CMS shout out for Kinsley Hays. This friend said, " She is always following directions and listens and a good role model. Also, she is a good listener to all of her friends, not just teachers." 

 

This announcement is for 7th Graders.  The CMS Service Group is now looking for 7th graders to join our team.  If you want to help our school and community and be involved here at CMS. The service group is for you! Please pick up an application in the office and see Mr. Pitcher for details. 

 

This is an important announcement for all of Charleston Middle School. Let's keep our cafeteria a clean and welcoming space for everyone. Please remember to: Clean up after yourself, throw away all the trash before leaving.  We are guests and we need to respect the facilities. Your food service crew works hard to keep our cafeteria running smoothly.  Let's make their job easier by cleaning up after ourselves. Thank you for doing your part!

We have a shout out today for Savannah Bennett.  This classmate said, " Savannah is kind and a good friend to me and others." 

 

We have a CMS shout out today for Owen Pollard.  This classmate said, " He is always willing to help people with their work. I wish there were more than one Owen pollards in the school." 

 

We have another shout out today for Leayla Collier.  This classmate said, "Leayla is a good friend and makes me happy and makes me laugh."
