CMS Press will meet after school today in Mr. Pitcher’s room.  

 

IAR Testing continues today! Good luck with your math assessment! Use your scratch paper and do your best! Be sure to flag any questions you want to come back to at the end! 

 

Today’s CMS Shout out goes to Faith Ogle.  The shout out reads that “You help me with math and science! You always make me laugh”. Faith you are truly a star at CMS. 

 

Last night’s JV Scholastic Bowl Team went 2-0 at home with our leading scorers being Harper Brantley and Samuel Thomas with 3 toss ups each. Others getting on the scoreboard were: Gavin Hudson with 2, and Andrei C., Gabby Bumatayo, Caleb Ogle, Austin Pitts, Ahmad al Odeh and Hunter Pickett each with a toss-up. 

 

Varsity Scholastic Bowl went 1-1 last night, defeating Cumberland and falling to Paris-Crestwood. Season toss-up question leaders are Owen Davis, Colby Metzger, Brayden Cobb, and Braxton Floyd. Noah Hesselton also got a toss-up in a match. Next practice is tomorrow after school! 

 

High School Cheer open gyms are Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30 at CMS for 8th graders wanting to try out for cheer. Packets for tryouts are available in both the CHS and CMS Offices. Tryouts are April 17th, 18th, and 19th at CMS from 3:30-5:30. Athletes must make all three days to try out.  

 

For today only, High School Cheer Open Gym has been moved to Baker Gym.
