Todays, Black History month spotlight is on James McCune Smith. Smith was the first Black person to earn a medical degree. He also started the nation's first pharmacy under Black ownership, and was the first black to have their work published in a peer-reviewed medical journal.
This week CMS staff is looking for students who follow directions and take initiative.
