This week CMS staff is looking for students who listen before speaking. Students should use their eyes, ears, and proper voice when listening.
Today’s Black History Month spotlight is on Jack Johnson. Jack became the first black American man to hold the World Heavyweight Champion boxing title in the 1908. He held that belt until 1915.
Congratulations to our JV Scholastic Bowl team for improving to 3-1 on the season with two wins at Teutopolis last night. JV won 215-75 and 150-125 with Gabby Bumatayo and Hunter Pickett leading the scoring with 3 toss ups each. Every member of the JV team scored a point last night. Well done!
The Lost and Found is filling up again. Please come collect your clothes, water bottles, and other missing items.
Students a reminder is needed that food, candy, and drinks are not allowed in the hallway. All food, drinks and candy must be put away and not left open in your locker. Please consume all food and drinks before 1st period and at lunch only. If issues continue you may be asked to discard any food or drink found open in the hallway. Help keep our hallways clean!
Reminder that this Friday, February 23rd is the last day to order a yearbook for $9. After Friday, they will cost and additional $5 to purchase.
