Students and staff will be able to guess whose baby pictures goes with each CMS staff member. There will be a board set up in the IMC. Once you make your guesses, make sure and put your name on the guess sheet and put it in the envelope on the board, Prizes will be awarded. All guesses are due today, Feb. 15th by 3:30.
This Friday is No One Eats Alone Day. Across the country thousands of schools will participate by ensuring no one eats alone on this day. We will sit with others on Friday and meet some of our other fellow classmates and community neighbors. We will also have various activities during lunch, help create a “growing” bulletin board, and will even have some of our teachers visit with us during lunch.
This week CMS staff is looking for students who are respectful to everyone. Be kind and helpful to everyone!
Congratulations to our IMC winners! There were 223 Hugs and Kisses and our winners were Braelyn Mills with 209 and Kenli Hayes with 200. 214 conversation hearts were in the jar and Case Easton guessed perfectly using the Valentine date and Zarea LeFlore guessed 205. Great job everyone! Our next contest will begin soon for St. Patrick’s Day!

Today’s Black History Month spotlight is on Tracy Chapman. In 2023, Tracy Chapman, became the first Black woman to win a Country Music Association (CMA) award for writing the song “Fast Car”. The song was originally written in 1988.
