The 5th grade art classes studied the artist Brianna McCarthy for Black History Month. They created abstract portraits, using oil pastel to blend and create patterns. They mounted them on a scrapbook paper of their choosing. Pictured are the 5th grade awesome artists. #JeffersonCUSD1


6th graders just finished an art project where they learned how to draw a weaving in 3-D. They chose either colored pencil or sharpie to shade. Then used bleeding tissue paper and watercolor to put color on them. Pictured are the 6th grade awesome artists. #JeffersonCUSD1

Our Pre-K friends had a special visitor today from Premier Disposal! 🚛♻️ The kids loved learning all about trash trucks and how they help keep our community clean. Thank you for rolling by and making our day so exciting!
