Carl Sandburg Elementary School -

Ms. Bryan has been teaching art at Carl Sandburg since 2006! She has two dogs, two girls, loves to paint and loves tacos!

Mr. Miller grew up in Chatsworth, Illinois on a grain and livestock farm. He and his wife moved to Charleston in 1998 and raised two kids. He holds a BS in Animal Science from the University of Illinois and spent 30 years working in agricultural management and sales. He has been using these skills since 2019 to herd smaller creatures in his PE classes. Mr. Miller enjoys an epic dodge ball game and dressing up for school.

Mrs. Rogers has taught since 2015 and has been at Carl Sandburg Elementary since 2022. She is the Media Specialist.

I grew up in Charleston and graduated from CHS participating in wrestling and soccer. My senior year my soccer team made it to the elite 8 in State! I played soccer and studied Graphic Design at Carthage College in Wisconsin. After graduation, I've lived in downtown Chicago, Minneapolis, and Nashville. I'm excited to back in Charleston and since 2021 I've been a PE teacher and Boys Soccer Coach at CHS. Now I'm teaching at Carl Sandburg, my old elementary, which is very special for me! I have an amazing wife, Sierra, and two stepsons Logan and Carson.
