CHS is sponsoring a Blood Drive at Unique Suites Hotel from 1-6 on Monday, November 30. We already have 16 donors signed up online. The Red Cross is still doing the COVID antibody testing for free with each completed donation which is an added bonus. Due to recent mitigations put in place by IDPH and IHSA, all high school athletics are temporarily put on pause, effective today 11/20/20. There will be no open gyms, practices, conditioning, or competition during this time. The only exception would be if the activity takes place outdoors, with 10 or less participants who are socially distanced and wearing a face covering. IHSA will discuss the restart of the winter athletic season at their December board meeting.
With the schedule changes, students in classes with pre-scheduled meetings will need to update their Teams calendar. Here is a set of directions to help: https://5il.co/mtk1.

CHS Students and Families, We were made aware on Friday that there were negative things being said about CHS students on a social media platform. We quickly began working on this issue when notified. We have reported the account/posts to the platform. We have shared the information with the Charleston Police Department. We are continually working on this matter. We have higher expectations for our students than what was demonstrated here. We expect our students to conduct themselves appropriately at all times both in-person and online. The type of behavior exhibited through these recent posts is completely unacceptable. We expect more from our students. CHS Administration
