Hello!  I am Tracy Valinevicius, the guidance counselor here at Charleston Middle School.  This is my ninth year at CMS, and I have a strong commitment to the students' academic and emotional well being.  Part of the duties of the counseling office is to help counsel students about their educational and vocational planning as well as about problems of a personal or social nature.  I will help with teacher-student conferences, career information, mid-term reports, orientation of new students, and student problems concerning home, peer, school, and testing issues.  I also work closely and consult with teachers, the school social worker, and the school psychologist in order to address the needs of the students as best as possible.  I have an open door policy, so students are free and encouraged to come by at any time during the school day!

You can contact me at the school at 217-639-6013.  You can also email me at tval@charleston.k12.il.us
